Is Duxford Air Show Cancelled?
These ‘normals’ were disrupted in 2020 by Covid-19, when May’s Duxford Air Festival and July’s Flying Legends were cancelled….Air Shows at IWM Duxford.

What time does the airshow start 2021?
Pacific Airshow will take place on October 1-3, 2021. This free event is open to the public all three days. The flying takes place from 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM daily.

Can you take dogs to Duxford?
Can I bring my dog to the Air Show? As IWM Duxford is a working airfield, we do not allow dogs at the Air Show. Guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are permitted.
What time does the air show start?
Gates will open at 10 a.m. and close to inbound traffic at 1 p.m., performances begin at approximately 11 a.m. and last until approximately 4:30 p.m. A performer line-up is available on-site in the air show program. In addition, performers will be announced via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram during the show.
Do you have to book Duxford?
There is no requirement to book in advance for any of our branches. Visitors, including members, are welcome to turn up on the day. However we recommend booking in advance if you can, to ensure you can enter at your preferred time even during busy periods.
Are museum planes airworthy?
Most of the planes are airworthy and flown at the museum during flight demonstrations and at air shows throughout the year. Some being the last flight-ready aircraft of their time, and all of them being one of a kind. The museum is open to all.
When is the summer air show in Duxford?
For 2021 the Air Festival moves from its usual May slot to July, taking over the month traditionally dominated by Flying Legends, and is called the Summer Air Show. Is the Imperial War Museum at Duxford a Airshow?
The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is one of the largest and best-known aviation museums in the world, but the airfield is probably best known for its major annual airshows. Although no longer the host of Flying Legends, the museum holds three two-day weekend airshows each year, as well as a number of smaller weekend and weekday events.
