Pineapple green cheek conures have plenty of personality, making them popular pets. They’re affectionate, loving, and highly entertaining. Because they’re flock-oriented birds, they prefer having other birds to interact with.
What do pineapple conures like to eat?
Seeds are the favorite of Pineapple Conures and they love gorging on a variety of them. Feed them quinoa, chia, barley, or mix a few of them to keep the bird interested. Soak them for a few hours before serving to make them chewable for the bird. Or you can also serve them sprouted if the bird likes.
How long does a pineapple conure live?
Their average lifespan in captivity is about 15 years but is cut to 10 years if they are left alone. With proper care and attention, they can for up to 30 years.
