Do you have to pay to enter Mount Buller?
All vehicles entering Mt Buller or Mt Stirling are required to pay an entry fee that goes towards the costs of essential services on the mountains. For discounted rates purchase online up to midnight the night before you arrive.
What is a B-tag Mt Buller?
A B-TAG is a card that allows you to access the lifts of Mt Buller, it is reusable and can be loaded with lift passes, lessons and more.
Can you drive up to Mt Buller?
Unlike winter, entry to the Resort is free throughout summer. You can also drive your car all the way to the Village, although there are still parking restrictions in place around the Village. Mt Buller is also easy to get to from interstate, and is just 1.5 hours from the Hume Highway at Benalla.

Mt Buller snow season is from 9 June through to early October with dozens of events and activities all winter long.
How do you look cute in slopes?
Tie a knit over your thermal base layers for a fancy après-ski fashion moment. Wear the top by itself if it’s not super cold out, or layer a thicker jacket over it. Either way, make sure you wear the coordinating pants with it for a show-stopping outfit.
How long is the hike to Buller pass?
As the trail progresses the slope increases into a fairly long uphill climb to the alpine meadow, passing a nice waterfall on the way. Once you reach the meadow, it is about a 2km fairly flat hike to the actual pass, in which you’ll rise above the tree line.
Where do I get my Season Pass for Mt Buller?
Seasons passes will be mailed to your specified address prior to 28 May 2021. All passes purchased after 28 May 2021 are to be collected from Mirimbah Entry Gate (at the bottom of the mountain). Will there be an All-Resorts pass this year?
Where to park at Buller mountain in Alberta?
Outhouse on the loop by the pond. Park at the Buller picnic parking lot on the west side of the Smith Dorrien Trail. Take Smith Dorrien Trail (HWY-742) from Canmore or from HWY-40. From parking lot, crossed the road to the signed Buller Pass trail.
How tall is Buller pass from the parking lot?
The pass itself is very steep, but the view the top is well worth the climb. When all is said and done, you’ll have gained over 650m elevation from the parking lot.To to top of the pass is approx. 6.5 kms one way.
