The person who inherits the ruler’s primary title is called the primary heir. The player heir is the character that you will continue playing as when your current ruler dies. This will be your primary heir as well, unless the primary title will be inherited by a character of another dynasty.
Can you change your heir ck3?
To change the rules about which genders are eligible to inherit, or to change from a multiple-heir system to a single heir, you’ll need high crown authority, which is level three. Raising crown authority requires you to spend prestige, so you’ll have to work on gaining more of that if you can’t afford the cost.
When should you disinherit EU4?
I disinherit when the heir has less than 11 monarch points, and I do that on day one. Indeed, if the prestige is low, you get more prestige, so it’s not always the same: given the same amount of time, if you wait some years to disinherit, you’ll have less prestige in the end.
How do dynasties work EU4?
You can place your dynasty (or have their dynasty) at the head of another country by royal marriages. When you mouse-over other rulers it will show you what royal marriages they have in place and what will happen if they die.
How do I change my heir in CK3?
Once you have the required crown authority, you find succession laws in the same realm panel. Open it, and select the Succession tab. Here you’ll find buttons for changing both succession and gender laws, and clicking those will pull up a panel where you can look at the requirements for changing them.
