Is ASN 2021 Virtual?
With increasing uncertainties around variants of the COVID-19 virus, ASN has changed its plans for the in-person component of ASN Kidney Week 2021 in San Diego, CA. During our meeting last weekend, the ASN Council and Kidney Week Education Committee Chairs voted unanimously to move to a fully virtual meeting.
When is ASN?
ASN is now accepting abstract submissions for Kidney Week 2020, to be held October 20 – 25 in Denver, CO. This year features an updated submission system and streamlined process, and has several exciting new categories. For more information on how to submit your abstract, view the Call for Abstracts.

ASN is now accepting abstract submissions through June 2 at 2:00 PM EDT for Kidney Week 2021, to be held November 2 – 7 in San Diego, CA. What is the dialysis Society of America?

This format provides for 65,536 ASNs (0 to 65535). From these ASNs, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) reserved 1,023 of them (64512 to 65534) for private use. A 4-byte ASN is a 32-bit number.

The top reason for not choosing nephrology—as indicated by 35% of respondents— was the belief that patients with end-stage renal disease are too complicated. The survey revealed that 31% of respondents indicated that nephrology was the most difficult physiology course taught in medical school.
