What is FlySky compatible with?
Our first choice is the Flysky i6X. The FS-i6X is inexpensive, provides 10 channels, and can operate on both AFHDS and AFHDS-2A systems. It’s compatible with iBUS/SBUS receivers as well as the older PWM and PPM receivers.

How does a 2.4 GHz receiver work?
When you initialy ‘pair’ your transmitter to your receiver, they initiate the synchronised sequence of channel hopping. With 2.4GHz effectively 40 channels are available and the sets automatically set themselves to an unused frequency when switched on.
Are FlySky transmitters good?
A cost effective and overall great product. The transmitter feels a little cheap, but its performance works just as advertised. Overall, I say this product is a good buy. It’s simple and relatively cheap (compared to other models), but performs great!
How do I update FlySky FS i6X firmware?
Unlike the FS-i6, which uses UART communication, the FS-i6X uses USB:
- Connect the cable and open the System / Firmware update menu on your transmitter. Confirm that you want to enter the firmware update mode.
- Open the updater program. You should see the device detected:
Is FlySky FS-I6 good?
Great bang for the buck. For $50 this radio is jam packed with features and channels. Lots of receiver options are nice for various applications. Would really recommend getting an upgraded receiver (FS-iA6B is great) for use in a race quad.

I bought FlySky FS-i6 as a transmitter. It also includes FS-IA6B as a receiver. My question is very simple, how i wire this receiver to my pixhawk. I know FS-IA6B has ppm output. But the receiver package only includes antennas and bind plug. So how can i connect FS-IA6B to pixhawk 2 ? Should i have to buy any thing?

Never had problems. I used IA6B on ibus pins to Sbus on pixhawk 4 FC for long time. Never had problems. Yes. I found this receiver (and the Turnigy TGY-IA6B) can run Ibus or Sbus, depending on the transmitter being set accordingly.
How to connect fs-ia6b to Pixhawk 2?
I know FS-IA6B has ppm output. But the receiver package only includes antennas and bind plug. So how can i connect FS-IA6B to pixhawk 2 ? Should i have to buy any thing? Connection is simple, for PPM use pins marked with red. But better option is using SBUS – use my fw for I6 change output mode to PPM/SBUS and use IBUS port acting as SBUS.
Is the turnigy tgy-ia6b compatible with the SBus port?
The Turnigy TGY-IA6B works fine, and is labelled as Sbus compatible. Thank you for your time. Now I’m befuddled. I connected a Flysky FS-IA6B receiver (Ibus) to the Sbus port on my flight controller, and it worked. The flight controller does not support Ibus, and the transmitter was configured to use Sbus.
