Is global entry taking applications?
Global Entry enrollment centers are now open again, in dozens of airports across 44 U.S. states and territories. Conditionally approved applicants can schedule an appointment at their nearest enrollment center online through their trusted traveler account.
What happened to the GOES website?
The GOES website will be gone on October 1, 2017. If the application was not submitted in GOES before October 1, the data will be lost and a new application must be submitted using the TTP system.
What happened to my GOES account?
As of October 1, 2017 you are no longer able to access your GOES account. You will need to create an account with our new Trusted Traveler System. Please do not submit a new application and fee, if you have done so through GOES, as all our fees are non-refundable and you will be liable for all fees incurred.
Why are there no Global Entry appointments available?
Due to high application volume and a large backlog due to past closures, some Global Entry enrollment centers do not have open interview appointments for months and some locations show no available appointments at all.
What is the difference between Nexus and Global Entry?
Global Entry will allow you to enter the U.S. at virtually all international gateway United States airports and also where there is CBP immigration clearance in foreign countries, most notably Canada. Nexus is administered by Canada and has separate clearance criteria.
Can you walk in for a Global Entry interview?

How long does it take for a Global Entry application to be approved?
Please note that processing times vary by applicant, but on average you can expect your application to be processed for Global Entry and FAST within 6 months, SENTRI 12 months and NEXUS 6 months. This includes vehicle enrollments. The vetting process cannot be expedited.
