What drops Smouldering stone?
A smouldering stone is a stone dropped by Cerberus and much more rarely, hellhounds. It can be used to upgrade the dragon axe, dragon harpoon, and dragon pickaxe into the infernal axe, infernal harpoon, and infernal pickaxe, respectively.

Is the smouldering stone dust or dust?
I hoped that the Smouldering Stone would also degrade to dust along with the dragon hatchet, otherwise we’ll just end up with another Kraken tentacle style item that is expensive in the beginning but slowly loses value until it’s more like a tool than an accessory. Like you say, this item would basically give people free level 92 (?)
