Where do WashU students live?

Many of our upperclass students live on the Northside, which consists of residential communities on the Northwest corner of the Danforth Campus and in our neighborhoods near campus. Each of which provides a variety of programs and amenities for students to enjoy.

Are WashU dorms coed?

All of the dorms are co-ed. In coming years, the University will be allowing upperclass students the option of mixed-gender housing, whereby any combination of males and females can live in the same suite if they so choose. There are nearly 20 dining locations on the Washington University campus.

How much is laundry at WashU?

We call this service One-Time Wash. You will bring your laundry to the storefront where it will be weighed and ready to be picked up on our next Wash U Wash business day. This service does not require any prepaid plan. Each pound of laundry costs $1.50.

The university owns and operates 11 on-campus houses that have been traditionally occupied by IFC fraternity chapters. Currently, 10 of the 11 house fraternity men. WPA chapters have suites in the Women’s Building where chapters can gather to create community.
