Griff’s last name is never mentioned in the movie, which means he could either be the son of Biff’s son Biff Jr, or the son of Biff’s daughter, Tiffaney. However, in the animated series, Ziff says that both he and Griff are Tannens.
Who killed George McFly?

George was secretly murdered by Biff in an alleyway on March 15, 1973, as reported on the front page of the following day’s issue of the Hill Valley Telegraph, while en route to receive a book award. He was buried in Oak Park Cemetery.
