How expensive is the Sky Garden?
Access to the Sky Garden is free of charge on weekdays 10am-6pm and weekends 11am-9pm, see our opening hours here. Please note we have a limited number of tickets and reservations available; this has been carefully designed to adhere to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines and to protect staff and customers alike.
Can you go to Sky Garden for a drink?
Can I bring food or drink? Only food and drink purchased from Sky Garden is permitted in the venue, except for baby food and milk. Hot and cold drinks as well as substantial food items are available to purchase from Sky Garden Bars, with dining menus available in our restaurants, Fenchurch and Darwin Brasserie.
Can you get into Sky Garden without booking?
Book Sky Garden tickets here. If, however, you are planning to visit after 6pm on weekdays or 9pm at weekends, you can visit the Sky Garden without booking as they welcome walk in guests. There may be a bit of a queue though!
Can you visit the Walkie Talkie building?
The huge skyscraper’s Sky Garden on floors 35, 36 and 37 is the final part of the building to open, and can be visited by the public, not just city workers lucky enough to work there. Anyone can roam the high-rise garden, adding another landmark to the list of must-see places for any visitor to the capital.

There is no dress code for visiting the Sky Garden but the Darwin restaurant is smart/casual. For free entry it seems anything casual flip flops trainers ripped Jeans.

The dress code for the venue is smart/casual dress with Sky Garden reserving the right to refuse entry to those wearing beachwear, sportswear or flip flops. Tip: Wrap up warm when visiting the venue if the weather is cold on the day of your visit.

The Aqua Shard bar, no contest. Better views, better cocktails, better decor, more sophisticated crowd. Sky Garden no contest. Better views – you don’t need to look at the ghastly tumour of a building it’s in and more relaxed atmosphere.
