What order should you play Halo?
It’s up to you. Start with Halo Reach, go on to Halo: Combat Evolved than to Halo 2….So, the short version:

- Halo 2.
- Halo 3: ODST.
- Halo 3.
- Halo 4.
- Halo 5: Guardians.

The most interesting is Heroic. I always play in heroic. Not too hard, more “realistic” and challenging. Legendary is way to difficult and annoying.

Is Halo 3 ODST worth playing?
Totally worth it to play on there too especially considering how cheap you can get a copy for nowadays. Side note, every Halo game except 1 and 2 are backwards compatible with all DLC free.
Should I play Halo 1 or reach first?
Reach is definitely a good starting point into the series, and in terms of the chronological order, it’s technically the first one to play. If you actually start from Halo CE on PC, you don’t have to wait for the reach port.
