Can you print your own cake toppers?
If you can’t decorate a cake to save your life and spending big bucks on a customised cake is a little out of reach, printable cake toppers are a quick and easy (and also affordable!) way to lift your birthday cake game. Print out your cake topper at home or at a print and copy shop such as Officeworks or Staples.
How do you make fondant toppers?
roll various colors of fondant into logs then stick them together using water and flatten using a rolling pin. Brush a light coating of water on the backside of your cut outs and press them onto the fondant buttons. Frost the top of your cupcakes and press one of the cupcake toppers onto the frosting.

How do you print edible cake toppers?
Place the frosting sheet in the printer with the frosting side up (plastic on the back).
- Ready your edible printer with edible ink cartridges and blank frosting sheets. Give a command to print and it will slowly print on your frosting sheet.
- Once the sheet has been printed, allow the sheets to get dry for 5-10 minutes.

How long do fondant cupcake toppers last?
Make sure the container isn’t in direct sunlight or it could cause the colors to fade. Your fondant decorations will last for up to 4 months until they go bad. Hardened fondant is difficult to eat and should only be used for decorative purposes.
Can I use fondant to make figures?
You can certainly make figures just from fondant icing, but sometimes for more intricate or larger models you may need a product that sets a little harder. One option is to mix together fondant and flower paste in a 50/50 mix.
