How are Amex points forfeited?
If you didn’t pay the amount due or the minimum amount due by the payment due date of your Linked Card Account’s statement billing period, Membership Rewards® points may have been forfeited. There is a $35 fee for each billing period and each Card account for which you reinstate points.
