Molten Core is located on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms. It’s deep inside Blackrock Mountain, which is on the border of Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes. The walk-in entrance is located in Blackrock Depths, a dungeon in Blackrock Mountain. Be teleported to Molten Core by Lothos Riftwaker.
How do I get into Molten Core BFA?
The entrance to Molten Core is at the northwest ‘spoke’, very close to the door you need to walk through to reach Blackrock Depths, down close to the magma. Fly down, climb the chains down, (or jump down into the magma and walk up the stony ramp that’s on the north side of the chain), and speak to Lothos Riftwalker.

Mind you, the boss is doable, but be forewarned that you will not get him down solo without a bit of preparation. If you don’t mind skipping him (and the last two bosses, which only spawn when the first 8 are down), then feel free to just wander down to MC with no special preparation at all.

Vaelastrasz, the drakes and Nefarian are all immune. Geddon and Ragnaros are immune to fire. The other molten core bosses have between 100-200 fire resistance.

That quest is only to be able to get ported to MC without running whole BRD thing. 1) You have NOT completed “attunement to the core quest”, and you are outside the instance, near the blood elf who offers this quest, and you are able to enter Molten Core via jumping through window.
