How many horsepower does a TPI engine have?
This will depend on a variety of things such as engine size, engine modifications, and tuning. A stock TPI engine in good mechanical condition can have between 205 and 245 HP at the flywheel. A max effort TPI engine can get near 400 HP at the flywheel, but these are few and far between.

In order to change the stock ECU data we have spent hundreds of hours developing our own process for accessing, changing and reloading the ECU data.
Why did tune port injection upgrade the TPI?
The extra flow improved power production through the entire rev range, but since the effective runner length remained the same, the overall shape of the curve did not change. Even in ported form, the long-runner TPI offered huge torque production but ultimately limited peak power production.
