Does Michigan Works pay for schooling?
Local Michigan Works! Agencies will be able to help participants identify high demand occupations in their region. Eligible participants can receive up to two years’ worth of tuition for education or training. Once enrolled, participants need to complete training within four years of starting the program.
What is the going pro talent fund?
The Going PRO Talent Fund (Talent Fund) makes awards to employers to assist in training, developing and retaining current and newly hired employees. Training funded by the Talent Fund must be short-term and fill a demonstrated talent need experienced by the employer.
What will Michigan Works pay for?
Assistance can pay for up to one year of tuition at an approved university, Michigan community college, or other program.
