Is MoMA suggested donation?
Admission to MoMA PS1 is free for all NYC residents. Fees for everyone else are suggested ticket prices.
Should I buy MoMA tickets in advance?
MoMA members receive priority access, subject to capacity restrictions, and do not need to book in advance. An allocation of timed tickets is reserved for members each hour; guest privileges apply.
Is my MoMA membership tax deductible?
Yes you can deduct the Museum Membership Fees as long as they are under the 501(3)c guidelines to accept donations giving you the donor the benefit of deducting the donation at tax time. Write down dates , amounts and canceled check numbers, because if the IRS does an audit, they want proof of donation.
Can you bring water into MoMA?
No. They check your bags as you go in. You can purchase food and water once inside, but the food is restricted to certain areas. There is a cafe at MoMa, but one cannot take any food or beverages into the exhibit halls.
Does Sfmoma have a student discount?

How do I become a MoMA artist member?
If you would like to apply for a MoMA NYC membership with your IDNYC, you must do so in person at the Member Desk in the Museum lobby. We’re open seven days a week, 10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
How do you get tickets to the MoMA?
Use MoMA Highlights as your guide. Tickets may be purchased alone or with a book.
