How do you make embossing ink?
You need 1 tsp of petroleum jelly, I used the classic, Vaseline. Mix in 1/8 capful of vegetable oil. Then mix in 1/8 capful of alcohol to dilute.
What is the best ink for embossing?

A ball point pen will work. If you can, take out the ink from the pen first, or you will end up with pen marks on the back of your paper. I have also used a toothpick in a pinch. You have to be really careful with this one so that you don’t poke a hole in your paper.

You can emboss with VersaFine Onyx Black, yes. Use your VersaFine ink pad, Stamp your image, then sprinkle with your embossing powder and heat set.
Should ink pads be stored upside down?
Always store your ink pads upside down. This is to keep the ink on the surface of the pad. You don’t have to do this with pigment inks, which are so juicy that storing them upside down can result in an inky mess.
