What is Early American Prescut?

Early American Prescut is a glass pattern made by the Anchor Hocking Company. It was in production from 1960-1978, but a few pieces were distributed up to 2000. Many of us have been collecting EAPC for years, while others are new to this hobby.

How do you identify Anchor Hocking glasses?

When examining items, check for the hyphen in the word “Jade-ite” to identify it as an Anchor Hocking piece. Look for authentic Jade-ite pieces in a wide variety of green shades, from pale to dark. Jade-ite was made from glass scraps, so the amount of impurities in the scraps affected the final color of the glassware.
