The folks at FN America just unveiled the latest model in their FN Military Collector Series, the FN M249S Para. It is a civilian version of the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon developed for paratroopers and, like its full-sized brother, is certain to turn heads when it’s pulled out to send some rounds downrange.

FN America, LLC, announces the mandatory recall of certain FN M249S® semi-automatic, belt-fed rifles in both standard and PARA configurations. FN is instructing customers to discontinue use of these rifles immediately and return affected products to FN directly for installation of a new hammer group, at no cost.
