The paper used in Happy Planners can be recycled WITHOUT stickers. If you have pages with stickers, the adhesive material cannot be processed and these should not be recycled.

Since they are so secure, an attempt to force them loose with pliers will damage the assembly. To successfully remove a metal ring from the assembly, you will need to cut off each arm individually with metal snips or bolt cutters.

There is absolutely NO reason to have to invest in a brand new $30 planner every year! Just save your discs and your Happy Planner cover and switch out your old pages! Most of the extension packs are around $12 and come with everything you need for 6 months.

The MAMBI Happy Planner The MAMBI Happy Planner has become more readily available in Australia over the past couple of years – it’s punch and discs are much cheaper than the cost of the Arc system (which has gotten quite expensive!) so if you want to try a discbound system I’d go with MAMBI.

If you want to punch bigger than 7 x 9.25″ (i.e. MAMBI classic size) you need to purchase the BIG punch which is more expensive (and heavier) The punch isn’t very strong – it only works well through 1 or 2 sheets of paper

Can a happy planner be used with an arc?
